February Birchbox Review

This month's birchbox was not exciting to me as last months but I still love it!

I like these color changing polishes but I am not big on pink so I'll probably gift this one. I love the pore refiner and I'm excited to use it on my boyfriend. I have short hair so the hair oil isn't of much use to me but I'll have my sister try that one.  I tried one of the two 'breath crystals' and I love them! They are just like pop rocks but they freshen your breath! Genius! And I always love perfume samples to have in my purse and gym bag.

All in all I liked this box and cant wait for my next one!

Julep Maven box January review

EDIT: The actual box came with three nail polishes and the eyeshadow. I added two more nail colors for an additional 2.99 each. Which, to me, is an awesome deal! The two I added are on the far right of this picture, the gold glitter and copper/brown glitter. From left to right, the color names are Cameron, (light purple glitter with stardust finish) Rooney, (Deep brown) Love, (Special nail polish this month, a nude-ish polish with red glitter) Diamond Theory, (the brown/copper glitter) and Goldie (gold glitter.)

This first picture was using Julep's Myrtle red nail polish that I got in my first Maven box, and the gold glitter is Ruby Wing's color changing glitter polish from this month's Birchbox. 

This second set of nails was done with Juleps red Myrtle and nude Zora.

I have to be honest, I love the adorable packaging on the boxes I get. It puts me immediately in a better mood! I love it.

The consistency of the kickballz were kind of weird, but they did give me energy and I LOVE that they are a non energy drink/shot energy souce! These superfood chews were DELICIOUS so I'm definitely going to look into getting some more!

I love having extra razors, so that was a nice supply. I like having a couple extra shower supplies to throw in my gym bag so that's where this will go. This little organic oral rinse is a fun sample to try too! and the dream water was nice to see, too. I love trying 'healthy' versions of harmful drugstore products.

The probioitic drink was fairly good tasting, but mostly I loved it because when you pop the cap a ton of flavor shoots into the water and it's super cool! I like having different after workout drinks and was excited to try this one!

I love healthy organic snacks. I cannot get enough of these and love putting them in my lunches for work!

Again, these aquatowels are another thing to go in my gym bag and I LOVE sleepytime tea. I don't like pretzels much but my roommates do so they'll like them.

This hand cream is awesome AND organic. I have it on the side table in my living room and use it all the time. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of organic snacks/products in this box!

Birchbox Review

Birchbox is a monthly subscription service  that has skincare, beauty, makeup, etc samples.  this is my first month with it and I LOVED all my samples this month!

Adorable packaging once again!

  First of all, these snacks are absolutely delicious. I might keep my subscription to this one for a while. 

I didn't try Curry Up because I have strep throat and thought it might be too spicy, but I had my parents and boyfriend, Gary, try it and they all liked it. My mom said the amount of curry was just right for her and my dad and Gary said they would've liked it spicier. they agreed that I

it needed more pistachios. 

Apple of my Pie was definitely my favorite of all of the snacks. I love all things cinnamon, along with dried apples and almonds, this was the perfect snack for. I'm definitely going to have to look into getting some more.

We all decided Mediterranean Treasures was nothing special, as we could get dried dates, fig and apricots anywhere.

Coco's First Date was a great mix of nutty and sweet and was a close second to Apple of my Pie.

Conscious Box

Conscious Box! Had some fun samples, most of which I really loved and some of which I'm definitely going to buy! Most of the samples were food/drink related though, I'd like to see more beauty, household related, etc products in the next box!

Lots of organic Sweeteners! Blue agave, organic cane sugar, stevia, etc! 

I loved both of these bars! I love fig newtons so trying this healthy version was a treat for me! 

First of all, these teabags are fancy and awesome. They made me feel cool! I've only tried one of the bags so far but I loved it!

Haven't tried these yet but I slipped them in my gym bag and I love the flavor choices!

Garden tea?! Why have I not thought of this?

I love organic hair/skin products and I hope next months box has more!

I received red and nude nail colors. The bottles were kind of small but the colors are beautiful. The nude is a little gloppy but still pretty, and the red is vibrant and easy to apply. Dried pretty quickly, too! Getting the nail serum was fun but I've only used it a handful of times so I've yet to see it making any sort of effect.

I'm going to try one more month to see if it's worth paying for monthly boxes.

An introduction
